Brandtianum's heart-shaped leaves are deep green and feature a striking silver pattern. The leaves have been known to get up to 7" in length if allowed to climb.

Caring for Philodendron brandtianum

Philodendrons in general are known to be relatively low-maintenance, making them ideal choices for both beginner and experienced indoor gardeners.

Place Philodendron brandtianum in indirect to moderate light; avoid direct sunlight to prevent leaf burn. Allow the top half of soil to dry before watering; but be cautious of overwatering to prevent root rot. Use a chunky and well-draining potting mix to maintain healthy root conditions. Although Philodendron brandtianum can handle average home humidity levels, it will thrive in high humidity so consider placing it in a bathroom or using a humidity tray.
