Shipping & Returns

Shipping locations

We currently ship across Quebec and Ontario, Canada. We plan on expanding our shipping Canada-wide in the near future. Orders will be shipped via Canada Post unless otherwise noted.

Shipping cost

Shipping is calculated during checkout and it is based on the weight of your order and the shipping location. We offer everyday free shipping on orders over $100 before taxes. Your free shipping offer will be automatically applied during the checkout process if your order is applicable.

Cold weather shipping

During the winter months we ship your orders with heat packs to protect your plants from cold damage. In the event of extreme cold temperatures we may suspend delivery until weather changes to ensure that your plants arrive as healthy as possible.

Order cancellation

Orders can be cancelled and refunded if the order has not yet been packed. Once the order is packed and you receive a shipping confirmation email your order can no longer be cancelled.

Returns and exchanges

We have a 30-day return policy on pots, planters, and accessories, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. All plants are final sale, unless they arrive unhealthy or damaged in which we will send you a new plant, or refund you if that is not possible.

To be eligible for a return on non-plant items, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

As mentioned above, items such as live plants are not eligible for returns or exchanges at this time.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 48 hours if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please email us photos of your damaged or incorrect order at sales@plantasy.ca and we will begin the replacement process.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
